Sourdough Starter Care

So you purchased a sourdough starter from us, now what?

First, you’ll need to learn how to feed and maintain your starter:

Reheating Instructions

Frozen, Slow Prep Method—

  • Remove the loaf from the freezer and allow to defrost at room temp (do not remove from bag).

  • Once defrosted, remove from the bag and lightly spritz with water.

  • Set oven to 350°F, and heat on parchement paper for 5-15 mins.

  • Remove from the oven and enjoy!

Frozen, Quick Prep Method—

  • Remove the loaf from freezer and bag, lightly spritz with water, and wrap in parchment paper (leaving the ends open).

  • Set oven to 350°F, and heat for 20-30 mins.

  • Once an internal temp of 170°F is reached, remove from the oven and enjoy!
