**Fresh loaves available for Tuesday pickup only**
Reserve a loaf of our artisan sourdough bread! Our freshly baked, naturally leavened sourdough is made with wholesome, high-quality ingredients; the original loaf features four simple ingredients: Organic Flour, Filtered Water, “Belle” our authentic French Starter, and Himalayan Pink Salt. This classic, old-world loaf features a crunchy outer crust, and a soft inner crumb. The dough is fermented for approximately 24 hours for maximum nutrition and flavor.
Our starter culture was originally established by us, and has since been combined with another starter that we acquired directly from Sautron, France. We also use our fresh, stone-milled flour (also available in the shop) in the “feeding” of our starter. The starter has been carefully maintained since 2010.
✓ Fresh loaves are baked that morning, and will arrive ready-to-eat in a brown bakery bag.
✓ Frozen loaves will be delivered at optimal freshness, ready to be enjoyed at your convenience— just as if it were baked that day! Frozen loaves will arrive in a plastic and brown bakery bag to retain quality and flavor.
✓ Misfit loaves are those with slight imperfections such as: cracks or holes in the bread, a lesser oven-spring, etc. These imperfections do not compromise the taste or quality of the bread— it simply doesn’t meet our standards for a typical loaf. Misfit loaves will arrive frozen, and in a plastic bag.
